S.I. lab_ is a fibra-studio collaborative experience that explores the possible intersections, boundaries and integrations between A.I. (artificial intelligence) and, what we named, S.I. (sensorial intelligence).We are "Fibra", which means fibre. We give corpus to our visions of a future based on the metaphor and the practice of weaving the future: texturised, complex and poetic.We propose that our participants wear an invisible hat of creation and invite them to an experiment of co-thinking about the limits and possibilities of senses as descriptors of meaning in their unique language and expressions. Senses are explored as sensors, isolated from each other and felt in their uniqueness. Smelling, touching, hearing, tasting, and seeing are invited to compose as an orchestra, a visual poetic act based on the stimuli of fibra-studio's text production shared at the beginning of the experience.Fibra-studio is pre-launching the first edition of its magazine, dedicated to the theme OPERA: as the superlative scenic space also by celebrating the oeuvre, the building of singular productions by the act of making.

Why it's important to play "What if?"

Towards Futures Critical Thinking

We are exploring the boundaries between the always-evolving digital world and its interplaying with humans* versus* their not-so-evolving humanity (for now). What is the ethos of creation in this specific context? Is it menaced by the latest advancement such as ChatGTP or A.I. generated images as DALL·E 2?. What could it be in the myriad of vertiginous changes when A.I. and machine learning start to present competent and competitive products: which roles, what language, what productivity and_** other emergent questions have to be asked to capacitate human hegemony over algorithms?** The first question with this workshop could be: what if we could create together with A.I. without our unique exclusive code that is our body and our senses? What other problems could arise? You are all welcome to co-create more questions with us.
